Premium Eyewear Website

The art of eyewear

This project was one of my favourites. Following two previous bad experiences with web designers, my first job was to develop a trusting relationship and reassure the client that we would lead them through our systems and processes to create something that not only worked, but that would be something they were proud of and that would deliver results with a design-led, beautiful site.

We spent a longer period of time in the strategy phase making sure they understood the process and felt comfortable with the project as whole. Our first goal was to create something that stood out amongst the high street brands and something that showcased their hand made, bespoke designer frames. In order to do this, we felt the imagery needed to be unique, interesting and engaging. We created a strict photography brief and worked with Jessie Casson to create a collection of beautiful, timeless images. Creative People were onsite for the photoshoot to ensure the images would be perfect for the website.

More recently, we incorporated an e-commerce shop into the website and we’re continually creating EDMs and adding content into the news section to help with search optimisation. I feel truly lucky to have been trusted with the whole Premium Eyewear brand and I love working alongside Kay, managing director of Premium Eyewear.

Claire starts the process of building a brilliant website by carefully learning about the business from the business owner. Once she has her head around the brand and operations of the business, she progresses step by step considering the design and all technical aspects of what is needed to ensure a well- designed, high functioning and effective website.
